What is MOUD?

Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) combines medications with counseling and behavioral therapies for a comprehensive approach to treating opioid addiction, including heroin and prescription pain relievers.

What is Buprenorphine?

Buprenorphine, commonly known as Subutex, is used to treat opioid dependence and addiction. Suboxone, a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone, helps suppress withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings for heroin or narcotic pain medications.

What is Methadone?

Methadone is a daily medication used to treat Opioid Use Disorder in individuals addicted to heroin or narcotic pain medications, supporting long-term recovery and helping them lead meaningful lives.

What is Vivitrol?

VIVITROL is an injectable medication prescribed to prevent relapse after opioid detoxification. It requires that individuals stop taking opioids beforehand and is most effective when used alongside counseling and other recovery programs, helping to reduce urges and the effects of opiate use.
